Psalm 71:18 "Even when I am old and grey, do not foresake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation,

Just thought I would post a picture of our first grand baby! Bryson Luke is all of two months old!
We can't wait for our next trip to see our little guy.
Php 4:8 "Finally brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, if there is anything praiseworthy, meditate on these things."
Ever notice how huge and looming and seemingly impossible the storms of life rage when our focus veers away from our Lord Jesus. I cannot think of anything more , pure, true, noble, lovely,of good report, virtuous, and praise worthy than Jesus our Master and Lord.
The Lord recently reminded me of a verse, Proverbs 25:13 "Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest, is a trustworthy messenger to those who send him, for he refreshes the heart of his master." Is it not amazing that we as brothers and sisters in Christ have the ability to refresh the spirit of God, simply by stepping out in faithful obedience to his call on our lives! We stepped out recently, and though we were not received as we had anticipated, we realize, we are not the first to be "sent", nor does our reception come as a surprise to our Lord.
